I've never read a book as clever as this one. I was so fascinated by the amount of thought and creativity that had to go on the process of crafting this book, and while this is not the greatest book I've ever read, it was worth it just for the originality of it. As I said, it's a fun read, however, I did find myself getting bored in some parts. I also had trouble picturing some of the descriptions, this could be a me-problem, but still... I was also left with the sensation of wanting more from the book like I was hoping for something to happen that never did. However, I love the characterization of the main character, especially Dennis's, because we get to know so well someone that never spoke one word and I find that that is a very difficult thing to do from a writer's perspective.
If like me you're an easily scared person, this book is the perfect light October read!
